Dear Mizani Certified Stylist,

In the beginning of April, Main Street Salon Services, Inc.., received a letter from Mizani's Vice President Clarissa Wilson, stating that certification classes would no
longer be necessary in order to purchase the Mizani line, however you must be a licensed cosmetologist.

Trying to figure out how best to tell you, our loyal customers, has weighed heavily
on our hearts and minds.

We have attached a copy of the letter we received from Ms. Wilson for you to read
as it better explains the new program.

We are pleased to announce the evolution of the Mizani Certification Program. Mizani's commitment to the stylist remains as stated in our certification manual. "MIZANI offers a strong commitment to dedicated stylists. We base this commitment on the Four P's - Premise, Principle, Pledge and Promise. These beliefs represent the very cornerstone of MIZANI's creation and existence". Our evolution will allow us to reach more licensed stylists and provide opportunities for continued education, development and growth. Effective, April 1, 2003 licensed stylists will be able purchase and use MIZANI products prior to the certification process. Our quest for continued intimacy with our salon customers remain; therefore, we are requesting that licensed stylist who purchase Mizani are registered with stylists' name, salon, home address and license number to insure that our products are being sold only to licensed stylists as we promised.

The certification process will remain available and offer more benefits than ever. All certified stylist prior to the April 1, 2003 dates will become Lifetime Platinum members entitling them to immediate membership in the Business Wellness Program, a MIZANI Loyalty Plan that allows stylists to earn points for every purchase. In addition, Platinum Certified Stylists will enjoy preferred status at Certification Level 11 and III events. MIZANI Certification will remain available for licensed stylists so they too can share in the benefits.

We are confident this evolution will assist in meeting the needs of the licensed stylists of today. As we strive to elevate stylists to new levels in product knowledge, education and business building maintaining MIZANI Certification has privileges.
